Boosting breast size with plastic surgery has been linked to a significantly higher suicide rate among women in a new 15-year study.
While overall risk of health problems did not change, the suicide rate was much higher for women with breast implants compared with the general population, scientists announced today.source

Long story but I want to know if there is a way to make your breast implant leak or rupture?

Tears or holes can be caused by a defective envelope, by a nick from a needle during a biopsy, or even when the surgeon is closing the incision in your chest after putting the implants inside you.
Mammograms can potentially cause an implant to break, especially if the implants are old or the mammography technician is not trained to work with breast implants. You should always tell the technician that you have breast implants, and make sure that he/she is qualified to perform your mammogram
Comment on July 27, 2010 08:11 amEvery 10 years, you will have to get your breat implants replaced, or else they could lead to an infection. This is very important because breast infections can lead to paralysis. If you want implants, be prepared to go for surgery a few times in yuor life.
